With a better marketing strategy that examines people’s likes and dislikes with in Rhode Island, we believe more people of Rhode Island would utilize and benefit from the FreeMarketRI.com service.

Based on our research, we were able to find the most favorable means of promotion in the Rhode Island area. The top promotional schemes included TV Commercials, Radio Commercials, Free Promotional Items, News Reports/Info Sessions, and Billboards. Below are examples and pictures of some of the most favorable means of promotion:

Katrina

Our proposal is to utilize FreeMarketRI.com to aid Katrina victims in receiving such vital items. We have contacted a Katrina Benefit Fund that allows donations of various goods. They will provide a list of goods needed which will then be posted on the FreeMarketRI.com website. Members can then click on the link that will direct them to this list and then post necessary items so that the Katrina Benefit Fund may request it through FreeMarketRI.com. We believe that by partnering up with a Katrina Benefit Fund, Rhode Islanders’ will have a greater incentive to use FreeMarketRI.com. This proposal will help Katrina victims obtain necessary goods. As well as increase the secondary usage of goods, thereby reducing the amount entering the Rhode Island’s land fills.
